JTLH is proud to sponsor Luke Owens, a champion swimmer who recently finished 12th in the country in his age group (16) at the British Championships.
At the heart of JTLH is a commitment to nurturing aspiring talent and championing the value of hard work. Luke’s success in the sport and his determination to train and compete in spite of a recent illness embodies some of the traits that we value most, and it has been a privilege to follow his journey and witness his hard work pay off.
Following his impressive performance at British Championships, Luke also competed in the English National Championships at Sheffield where he finished in the top 15 in the 100m Butterfly, 50m Butterfly, 800m Freestyle and 400m Individual Medley.
Juggling GCSE exams, arduous training and looming competitions is no small feat, and to see Luke excel in all of these areas displays a discipline that we can all strive for. These successes have also culminated in a recent acceptance into the Swim England Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) Programme, a prestigious position reserved only for talented young athletes performing at a high level.
Regardless of the goal or industry, a strong work ethic and the drive to exceed expectations are universally valued, whether competing against the country’s best swimmers or developing modern solutions to address the challenges facing the housing market. We are extremely proud of Luke and are eager to see him continue to thrive as he moves into this next stage of his swimming and academic career.
